Bulkhaul Limited is an independent business which was established in 1981 and is dedicated to the global transportation of bulk liquids, powders and gasses.
We have set ourselves the objective of understanding this market in depth and meeting the needs of our customers. Our management team combines many years' experience in global transportation and is supported by a highly skilled team of employees.
The operations centre is based in the UK and Bulkhaul's tank units in transit around the world are regularly routed through the company's own workshops on Teesside in North East England for monitoring and maintenance.
The five departments at our Middlesbrough Head Office comprise Operations, Commercial, Transport, Workshop and Accounts & Administration.
The Commercial Department is divided into groups, each with its own senior manager responsible for a particular sector of the customer base. Our customers therefore have a singular point of contact for all areas of reference within the company. The aim of this approach is to foster close links with our customers in order to build a better understanding of their needs.
The Commercial Department works very closely with the Operations Department and both are supported by a highly sophisticated computer system custom designed and developed at Bulkhaul.
The computer system has global links to Bulkhaul's international offices and agents to allow detailed tracking of tanks and group consignments around the globe 24 hours a day. The system also monitors and ensures that our performance standards are achieved and automatically schedules routine maintenance for tanks and vehicles in accordance with Bulkhaul's operating procedure.
